Ladies' Circle is an international organisation for young women between the ages of 18 and 45. It has its roots in England where the wives of Round Table members founded the first Circle in Bournemouth in 1930. The idea of forming a Ladies' Circle International became real after contacts between members of first three countries - LC GB&I, LC Sweden and LC Denmark, and in 1959 the international organisation of Ladies' Circle (LCI) was established.

Ladies' Circle is now represented in 36 countries, across four continents with over 13,000 members.

Ladies' Circle International has a constitution which is based on equality of all member associations within the international structure.

Ladies' Circle International motto: "Friendship and Service".

Every year Ladies' Circle International holds an Annual General Meeting in a chosen country in the last week of August or first week of September, where the activities of the previous year are reviewed, the new office bearers are elected; the way forward for the organization is charted. The best part of this event is that participants renew friendship and make new everlasting ones.

Every second year, a new International Charity Project is chosen and supported by all member countries for a period of two years. Currently our project is SARIS, the construction of sanitary blocks in schools in India.

In 2006 Ladies' Circle International and Round Table International signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two clubs to encourage a closer relationship whilst assisting each other. Referred to as the "Side by Side" agreement for which two pins have been produced. Proceeds from sale of pins go towards International Charity projects for Ladies' Circle and Round Table respectively.
