History

Like in the Bible, everything started from a man... In Year 2000 five active partners of the Round Tablers' initiatiated the first Ladies' Circle (LC) Club in Lithuania. On 6 April, 2002 an official founding meeting of the Club took place. The Ladies' Circle International Board representatives as well as God Mothers from LC Denmark, and ladies from LC Latvia actively participated.

There are three clubs in Lithuania now -  two clubs in Vilnius and one in Klaipeda. The second club in Vilnius was established in June 2006. Again, with the kind support of Ladies from Denmark. And, on 24 January, 2009 ladies from the third club were baptised during the Mid Term Meeting of  LC Northern Europe in Vilnius. There are some plans to establish a new club in Kaunas too.

Since 2006 a national board is elected annually. Within the LC International, LC Lithuania has an associated membership status and, recently, expressed the will to obtain a full membership status.

Currently, the clubs have 30 active members who meet twice a month. Our meeting venues are a café, a restaurant, a wine-cellar or club member^΄ s home. Ladies are very keen on educational and cultural ventures, such as reading and discussing books; listening to lectures on healthy life style, skin problems, flirt; attending make-up lessons and dance classes; wine tasting, and others.
